Frozen Yogurt Shakes! Probiotic Goodness of Yogurt, Low Calorie, & Low Fat

Beltsville, MD (PRWEB) September 07, 2012
Many of us have experienced the recent frozen yogurt (froyo) phenomenon. While it is a healthy dessert alternative to traditional ice cream (or even a meal replacement for some), most of us aren’t Googling to find a close by shop for a mid-morning/mid-afternoon froyo fix. Until now…
Frozen yogurt shakes were suggested by a customer who wanted a healthy snack or meal replacement. After research and taste testing, it was found that many customers would consider frozen yogurt shakes as a mid-morning /mid-afternoon snack or even a meal replacement, and all agreed that the frozen yogurt shakes tasted either as good or better than ice cream milkshakes they’ve previously tried.
Yogi Castle frozen yogurt shakes has 350-495 calories for a 16oz serving. Through researching various dessert concept websites, it was also found that it contained significantly lower calories and fat (1/2 the calories and fat content in some cases) compared to traditional milkshakes made with ice cream. Lower calories and fat with the added probiotic health benefits of real yogurt made it a viable snack and meal replacement.
What started out as a simple suggestion from a health-conscious customer has evolved into offering a product that has changed the way consumers view frozen yogurt at the Yogi Castle stores. It is now considered a healthy mid-morning/mid-afternoon snack, meal replacement, and of course a dessert treat for all.
